I've spent over 35 years sitting across from women and listening to their skin.

As a beauty therapist, I have heard hundreds of stories in the treatment room. Women trying product after product, searching for something that understands what's happening to their skin during perimenopause and menopause. The dryness that comes out of nowhere, the redness that won't settle, the thinning and sensitivity, and that unsettling feeling of looking in the mirror and not quite recognising the person looking back.

I created Kadu Skin because those women deserved to feel understood, to know that someone has spent a lifetime learning about skin and has made something specifically for them.

Hi, I’m Rebecca

My understanding of skin started with my own. At 16, doctors diagnosed me with polycystic ovaries, and it showed on my skin long before anyone could tell me why. That same year, beauty therapy training began, and something clicked. Treating skin on the surface wasn't enough. Understanding why it behaves the way it does became the driving force behind everything.

That curiosity led to three decades working in treatment rooms around the world, studying the science behind ingredients, and developing a deep respect for what natural botanicals can do when they're formulated with care and precision.

Eventually, I returned to study and became a cosmetic formulator. Achieving my Advanced Diploma in Organic Cosmetic Science changed everything for me, because it gave me the tools to go beyond understanding skin concerns and start creating targeted solutions for them. I learned how specific compounds interact with specific skin issues at a structural level, which meant I could finally formulate products that do exactly what I need.

How Kadu Skin came to be...

Over the last seven years, I've worked closely with women, like you, going through perimenopause and menopause in my treatment room, listening to their frustrations and watching how their changing skin affects the way they feel about themselves. I've tried existing products alongside them and watched them fall short because most skincare brands simply don't make their products with this stage of life in mind.

Kadu Skin grew out of that experience. Hundreds of hours went into researching natural ingredients, trialling formulas, and putting the puzzle together, matching a structural understanding of skin with the specific challenges menopause brings. This wasn't a side project or a sudden idea. It was years of careful, intentional work.

Every product in the range exists because I saw a need for it in the treatment room. I developed the Quies Calming Face Serum after watching women struggle with persistent redness and reactivity, and the Nutrio Vita Rich Moisturiser came from hearing the same words over and over: "my skin just feels so dry, and nothing helps." These formulas are my answer to those conversations.

I'm on this journey, too...

Here's the part that makes this personal. I'm not formulating from the outside looking in. I'm 52, and I'm progressing through menopause myself right now. I know what it feels like when your skin starts behaving as if it belongs to someone else. I know the frustration of products that used to work suddenly falling flat.

That lived experience sits alongside the professional one. Formulating draws on 35 years of treating skin, an advanced science qualification, and the reality of my own face in the mirror every morning. That combination matters. It means no guessing at what your skin needs. I know, because I need it too.

I made Kadu Skin so that every woman going through this stage of life can feel supported, understood, and seen.
